• The operator control panel of the AVChoice HF with manual or APR (anatomical programming) technique setup conveniently mounts on a swing-out arm off either side of the tubestand.

• The operator has the ability
to bring the control panel forward or swing the control to either side for convenient technique setup at the head or foot of the table.

TWO TABLE CONFIGURATIONS:

• The AVChoice HF-AP Plus provides a two-way float top table system
that offers a total of eight inches of cross-table travel (4" to the back of center and 4" to the front) with all of the exclusive and unique features of the basic VetTek. This system provides many of the benefits associated with a four-way float top table system at a more economical price.

• The ACChoice HF-AP Plus 4 provides the discerning veterinarian with the first, and only, four-way float top system,
with integrated generator, dedicated to veterinary radiography. It adds longitudinal table top movement of eight inches (4" left and 4" right) to the eight inches of cross-table movement of the AVchoice HF-AP Plus. And the AVchoice HF-AP Plus 4 comes with a 31" x 68" table top surface to ensure that even the largest patients can be comfortably accommodated.

Universal Generator Upgrades - Get Digital Ready!

CHOOSE FROM SINGLE PHASE AND HIGH FREQUENCY GENERATORS

The added power offered in both the single phase and high frequency generators allow the use of shorter timing to reduce motion and deliver high quality images while still remaining affordable. One of the design criteria was safety for both patient and operator.

newThe ANTHEM - High Frequency Generator

AnthemGen
The ANTHEM generator combines high frequency technology and advanced microprocessor control design to provide generators that are user-friendly, powerful, compact, reliable and flexible to the preferences of technique set-up by the technologist.

The ANTHEM operates in three user-friendly modes: APR (Anatomically Programmed Radiography), 2 point or 3 point technique set-up allowing customization of operation to meet the needs of the particular practice and the preferred means of oepration for the technologist.

Modernize Your Imaging Workflow With Revolutionary CR Technology

Now you can convert your practice
to digital radiography with the ImagePilot CR System that is specifically designed for Veterinary Offices.

image_pilot_hc_products_maininfo

ImagePilot CR is a new generation CR System that dramatically simplifies CR image acquisition to the push of a button. This is possible with AutoPilot Image Processing which automates the image optimization process with universal algorithm independent of body site information. The AutoPilot feature creates high quality images everytime regardless of the body part, size or type.

In addition, ImagePilot pioneers the true meaning of an integrated digital radiography system, as it combines CR acquisition, patient registration, image viewing and storage in one easy to use and maintain system. These advance features of ImagePilot CR eliminates the need for a separate PACS.

A Complete Solution for Veterinary Digital Radiography!

THE DIGITAL WORLD - YOUR OPTIONS

The following is a brief description of the types of Digital Capture available:

The advent of digital imaging
has created an overwhelming interest and many questions on the part of many Practitioners. Just as with radiographic equipment, there are multiple choices in capturing digital images.

CR - (Computed Radiography) Systems “Cassettes Required”

With CR systems, an image is created using a cassette containing a phosphor plate that replaces the conventional cassette with intensifying screens. The cassette with phosphor plate is placed in the cassette tray. Once the exposure is made, the cassette is removed from the table and placed into the CR reader that scans and digitizes the image. The digital image is displayed on the monitor within 30 to 40 seconds. After the image has been digitized, the plate is then automatically erased for reuse. The Kodak Point-of-Care automatic erase feature eliminates the need to place the cassette in one compartment to read and in another compartment to erase as required by some CR units.

DR - (Direct Radiography) Systems “No Cassettes Required” - Two Types:

Type 1 - CCD (Charged Coupled Device) Systems:
DR - CCD Utilizes a digital image receptor, similar to a digital camera. The digital receptor is energized by the x-ray beam and read by a high resolution camera. The image is displayed on a monitor within 7 to 10 seconds. The CCD receptor in the DCChoice for Chiropractic replaces your wall unit. The CCD receptor for the DRds mounts into the base of the table and moves along the table base. The CCD receptor is coupled with the tubestand to provide the ability to move the CCD receptor and x-ray beam rather than have to jostle the patient in the imaging path. Patient positioning is further enhanced when the optional float top table is added.

Type 2 - DR (Direct Radiography) Flat Panel Detector Systems. These technologies are typically found in hospital and Orthopedic settings.
With DR, an electronic detector is mounted in the wall holder. After making an exposure, the detector directly captures the image, which is then displayed on the monitor in 7 to 10 seconds. Once the image is captured, the detector is then ready for the next view.

Clearly there are many advantages to digital imaging.
For most, the ability to manipulate and share the image electronically along with elimination of the darkroom are on the top of the list of reasons to consider digital imaging. Digital imaging is quickly taking hold in the medical, chiropractic and veterinary markets as costs have declined and the need for pruductivity has increased in the last year.
